The Leveson Inquiry Report, published by Lord Justice Leveson, looks into the culture, practices and ethics of the press in Britain. On July 13, 2011, British PM David Cameron announced a two-part inquiry investigating the role of the press and police in the phone-hacking scandal in the country.

This report also makes recommendations on the future of press regulation and governance consistent with maintaining freedom of the press and ensuring the highest ethical and professional standards in the UK.
