Uma Bharti to join BJP very soon
The Nitin Gadkari-led Bhartiya Janata Party is making all efforts to re-induct senior estranged leaders who are out of the party for various reasons.
In Bharti’s case, sources say, all the issues have been cleared. Initially there was opposition to her re-induction from RSS leader Suresh Soni. Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan and his supporters were also not happy with the move and so was party’s Rajya Sabha MP and in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Prabhat Jha.
The inside story of BJP’s leadership battle
Contrary to what its chief Mohan Bhagwat has been claiming, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is in full control of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). The way the RSS has leaned on the BJP leaders to select the next president amply proves the point I am making.
With the crisis in the BJP over leadership change seems to be coming to an end, as promised in the previous posts, we bring you some more exclusive details of the raging behind-the-scenes battle over the leadership issue in the ‘party with a difference’.
RSS forms committee to select Advani’s successor
Tired of the escalating infighting in the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) over the leadership issue, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has decided to take the matter of deciding the next Leader of Opposition (LOP) into its own hands.
According to sources, the Sangh has formed a committee under the leadership of its senior leader Madan Das Devi to select L K Advani’s successor. Other RSS leaders who are in the committee include Shrikant Joshi, Madhubhai, Suresh Soni, and Indresh Kumar.
RSS leader linked to ISI?
The Malegaon blast investigation is throwing up interesting stuff with each passing day. The latest doing the round is the alleged plot to kill two senior RSS leaders.
According to some media reports, which are attributed to the Maharashtra ATS, Lt Col Srikant Purohit revealed the plot to kill RSS General Secretary Mohan Rao Bhagwat and its National Executive Member Indresh Kumar during interrogations.
Torture allegations: Sadhvi Pragya’s affidavit
The Malegaon blast case investigation has come under the scanner again with BJP’s prime ministerial candidate L K Advani alleging ill-treatment of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS).
Sadhvi Pragya was arrested by the ATS in connection with the Malegaon blast.
Malegaon blasts case: Too many loose ends
Two extremely peculiar trends can be observed in the coverage of India’s encounter with ‘Hindu terror’. Firstly, all the stories are attributed to the so called “SOURCES”, which seems to suggest that information is being selectively leaked by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) to the media.
